Me & My Mission

There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you
— Maya Angelou, I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings

I’m Ariel (she/her). I am a collaborator in healing, growth and change. I am a diasporic femme, a mother and devotee to my own healing journey.

I represent the link between generations. I am fully aware of how powerful this position can be. I am embodying the link in the chain that is finally response-able and re-creating the legacies that bind these links- for myself, my child and all my relations.*

It is my life’s work to be curious about what compels us heal and the conditions that support healing. I want to share what I learn and offer my energy, so others may also find their way to healing and become more who they are meant to be. It is my life’s passion to explore and transform legacies of oppression and disrupt intergenerational patterns that perpetuate harm and distort our beliefs about self, others and our inextricable ties to all life. When healing is present, the gifts and talents we are meant to bring to the world, have the opportunity to shine through and we discover that we don’t have to do it alone and that change is something we can bravely accept and even embrace!

In every encounter of healing I facilitate, I also learn, grow and am changed. I am deeply humbled by the courage it takes to look at hard, painful stuff to engage in the healing process. I am wholeheartedly encouraged by the growth and innovation that comes from committing to self, relational and cultural exploration. Please take a moment to learn more about the work. If my approach resonates with you, feel free to reach out.
